April is a 1992 graduate of Bedford High School. She attended Shippensburg University where she graduated summa cum laude earning a Bachelor of Science Degree. She has been working with Reed, Wertz & Roadman Inc. since 1997, where she specializes in sales and service for Commercial Property & Casualty accounts. She is licensed in the Property, Casualty, Life, Accident & Health lines. In 2001, she completed her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designation. In 2004, she completed the Certified Workers Compensation Advisor (CWCA) designation program. In 2011, she earned the Certified Risk Managers (CRM) designation.
In 2004, April was given the opportunity to partner with Todd Roadman to purchase an insurance agency in Altoona, PA. April divides her time between Reed, Wertz & Roadman and Teeter Group, another Keystone Insurers Group member independent insurance agency. April is a 2001 graduate of the Leadership Bedford County Program and a 2007 graduate of the Leadership Blair County Program.
April resides in Bedford with her husband and two children.
