Jake grew up in Christiansburg, Ohio and is a 2009 graduate from Graham High School where he was an active member of the football and wrestling team. Jake then studied Fire and EMS at Clark State Community College and graduated in 2011. He became an Ohio Level 2 certified Firefighter, a Hazardous Materials Technician, and a Nationally Registered Paramedic with certifications in Ohio, PA, and Florida. Following graduation from Community College, Jake spent the next two years at ConAgra Foods as Smokehouse Operator. He also worked at various Fire/EMS agencies, volunteered at Christiansburg Fire Company, and coached football at Graham Local Schools prior to moving to Pennsylvania in 2015.
After moving to Pennsylvania, Jake worked full-time in EMS. He later became the EMS Commander at Blacklick Valley Ambulance in 2022 and then became the Executive Director at Raystown Ambulance Service. During his time working EMS, he oversaw many changes during the COVID pandemic and worked through various challenges to help agencies during a difficult time.
In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time with his kids (Mackenzie, Benjamin, and Gabriel), traveling, working out at the gym, and keeping busy around his farmstead. He is an Assistant Varsity Football Coach at Bedford High School and volunteers with the wrestling program.
Jake started at RWR in the summer of 2024 as a licensed insurance producer. He specializes in Fire, EMS, Healthcare facilities, home health agencies, and municipalities for all lines of insurance. He uses his knowledge and experience to better assist clients with their needs.
