A 1987 Bedford High School graduate, Tim received his Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Allegany College of Maryland. Tim served for 5 years in the U.S. Air Force, serving our country during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm
Tim joined Reed, Wertz & Roadman in the Spring of 2003 as a Commercial Lines Sales Representative and obtained his Property and Casualty License. He moved into the position of Account Executive in 2005. In 2008, Tim completed and earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and he also became a Certified Work Comp Advisor (CWCA). Tim Specializes in School Transportation all over the country and was recognized by the National School Transportation Association (NSTA) with the Meritorious Service Award in 2018 for his service to the school transportation industry. In January 2018, Tim became a partner of Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc.
Among his many achievements, Tim served on the board of Directors of the American Cancer Society, a past 3-time chairman of the Relay for Life, treasurer for the Board of Directors of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Bedford, Somerset and Cambria Counties, and Summit Quest Fitness Center Board. Tim is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Bedford County, past Chair of the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce and the Bedford County Chamber Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman. Tim has served as Past President of the Bedford Sunrise Rotary Club and is currently an active member. In 2019 Tim was honored as the Bedford County Citizen of the year.
Currently Tim serves as President of Bedford Borough Council (elected), a board member of Downtown Bedford Inc., and member of the Bedford Heritage Trust Board of Directors.
Tim resides in Bedford with his wife Bobbi and their 2 dogs – Miley & Kona.
